Navasota ISD will begin the Summer Feeding Program on June 1st and run through July 17th. Summer Feeding will run Monday through Friday from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at the curbside of the John C. Webb Elementary Cafeteria. Grab and Go breakfast and lunch will be made available to all students ages 0-18. Students will need to be present to receive the meals.
We will be closed the week of June 29 through July 3 for the 4th of July Holiday.

Navasota ISD is pleased to announce that summer school will be offered for NISD students. The district is offering a virtual summer school that will be provided online and supervised by certified teachers. The dates will be June 8th through June 25th, Monday through Thursday. Parents may register their students online. All of the following programs are optional. Teachers will hold 30 minute instructional times via Zoom each day. Teachers will also have 1 hour of virtual office hours each day to assist students in their learning.

Navasota ISD staff and employees will start their regular Summer work schedule and hours beginning on Monday, June 1st.

Navasota ISD campuses and offices will be open from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm daily Monday through Thursday each week.

All NISD campuses and offices will be closed on Fridays beginning with Friday, June 5th, and ending on Friday, August 7th, which will be the last Friday that offices are closed.

All NISD campuses and offices will be closed the week of June 29 through July 3rd for the Fourth of July week.

(Navasota ISD will continue to follow proper guidance and protocols as we return to work in person to help maintain safe social distancing and best practices to protect all employees during this time. We will implement schedules and procedures that allow for safe distancing procedures to be put in place to minimize the number of employees and staff in any area at one time. NISD Monitoring COVID-19, Coronavirus

NISD Family and Rattler Nation-
Navasota ISD is continuing to monitor the current situation regarding COVID-19, or Coronavirus, and is in contact with our local Grimes County Emergency Management authorities.

We are also getting daily updates and we are awaiting additional information from the Texas Education Agency and the Commissioner of Education as it will assist us in making decisions over the next couple of days.

The safety of our students and staff is always a top priority for Navasota ISD and we thank you for your patience as we continue to gather necessary information to make the best decision for our students, staff, and our community.
